First Week of Ministry!

This week has been packed with lots of adventures, teachings, and love. On Monday we had worship in the morning and taught English lessons in the afternoon. On Tuesday we had a Bible study/worship in the morning, house visits and VBS in the afternoon. Wednesday we had a home Bible study and a women’s group in the afternoon. Thursday we had worship in the morning, in the city of Antigua in the day and a blast of a time for worship night along with street food :) Friday we played soccer in the morning with fifteen and sixteen year old boys and eleven and twelve year olds in the afternoon - as you can see it was serious lol. Saturday we went on a gorgeous hike, had a delicious lunch, washed our clothes, and had a movie night w the team. Sunday we went to church in the morning and we got to share what God had been doing in our hearts since we got here. We also had a lunch which our host mom made and it was the same meal she had prepared for the Documentary about Guatemala on Netflix! We also went to dinner w them and had some American food like Pizza and Cheeseburgers because tomorrow we will leave them to go back to the base :( We love this little town so much and are so sad to not be staying in here everyday anymore. We have also become such close friends with the ministry we are working with here called “Hope” - we are so blessed and so excited to have the opportunity to work with them for the next six weeks still :) Overall, God has taught us that you don’t need to fit into any certain category to be able to share the Love of Jesus because you are already fully equipped as the trinity already lives inside of you! Thank you Jesus for such a Beautiful week in Guatemala.
